Delta boys and Girls win Old Capitol Invitational Friday

FILLMORE, Utah-Friday, Delta’s boys and girls won the Old Capital Invitational titles. The Rabbits boys posted 140 points with Richfield placing second with 80.5 points. Bryce Valley placed sixth with 34 points, Gunnison Valley finished seventh with 32 points, Millard and Kanab tied for eighth with 30 points apiece, Beaver placed 10th with 29 points, North Sevier placed 11th with 26 points, Manti placed 12th with 13 points, Piute placed 13th with 11 points and South Sevier placed 14th with 8 points.

Delta’s girls placed first with 99 points, outlasting second-place North Summit as the Braves posted 95 points. Millard finished third with 76.5 points, Kanab finished fourth with 52 points, Richfield finished sixth with 44.5 points, Beaver tied Rich for ninth with 28 points apiece, Milford placed 11th with 22 points, South Sevier placed 12th with 16 points, Bryce Valley placed 13th with 12 points, North Sevier placed 14th with 11 points and Escalante and Maeser Prep tied for 17th with 1.5 points apiece.
