Around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, Ephraim City Police responded to the Walmart parking lot in Ephraim for a woman suffering from a medical episode. According to reports, a nurse that happened to be shopping at the time immediately started CPR and continued until EMS arrived.

EMS used an AED to attempt to revive the individual but it was unsuccessful and she died at the scene. Initial reports are that the medical episode was related to previous medical conditions, but officials are still waiting on the medical examiner’s report. Her name has not been released at this time, she was in her mid to late 20’s.
