The Millard County Sheriff’s Office is looking for assistance in solving a crime in Delta.

According to a press release from the MCSO Facebook page deputies responded to a report of gunshots on 100 North and near the 300 West block at 1:30 AM Thursday.

Multiple rounds of pistol ammunition had been fired in front and nearby the residence with some striking the house and passing through. The release states that a young woman in the home was struck and received minor injuries, her name was withheld.

The scene is still being processed and interviews of possible suspects are ongoing.

In the press release the sheriff’s office states the incident may be related to a verbal disagreement which occurred there earlier at approximately 8:00 PM Wednesday.

The sheriff’s office is asking if you live nearby and have information or surveillance video that you share it with them to help solve this “serious act of violence.”
