PROVO, Utah-Saturday, as the Robison Track at Brigham Young University concluded, numerous Utah-based Division I star collegiate athletes excelled, while a Robison Track record fell.

In the men’s long jump, Adidas competitor Jeff Henderson set a stadium record with a leap of 27-08.25 feet.

Additionally, Katie Struthers of Utah State won the women’s 3000-meter steeplechase crown with a time of 11:19.83. The men’s 3000-meter steeplechase crown was won by Weber State’s Jordan Cross in a time of 9:08.16.

In the women’s 4 x 100 meter relay, the Utah Valley Wolverines won the crown in 46.44 seconds. This team consisted of Ashley Zulauf, Alena Gillespie, Mykah Ouderkirk and Lexi Shaw.

The women’s mile run saw Brigham Young’s Sara Musselman win the title in a time of 4:58.73 while her teammate, Talem Franco, won the men’s mile run title in 4:07.42.

In the women’s 100-meter hurdles, Alyssa Monteverde-Dalton of Brigham Young won the crown in a time of 13.20 seconds and in the men’s 110-meter hurdles, Southern Utah’s Devon Montgomery won in 14.06 seconds.

In the women’s 400-meter dash, Brigham Young’s Ellie Heiden won in a time of 54.49 seconds as well as the 200-meter dash title in 23.91 seconds. Her teammate, Keesha Miller, won the 100-meter dash for the women in a time of 11.71 seconds.

The women’s 800-meter dash winner was Brigham Young’s Anna Camp, a former Millard High star, in a time of 2:09.26.

In the women’s 400-meter hurdles, Utah State’s Jordan Brandt took the crown in 59.34 seconds, while in the men’s 400-meter hurdles, Scott Mecham of Brigham Young earned the title in 50.15 seconds.

The mens’ 5000-meter run saw Utah Valley’s Anthony Ocequeda earn the crown in a time of 15:28.14.

The Cougars swept the women’s and men’s 4 x 400 relays as well in times of 3:43.97 and 3:10.56, respectively.

In the women’s triple jump, Brigham Young’s ShyAndrea Jackson won the crown with a leap of 39-01.25 feet. For the men, Albert MacArthur of Utah Valley won this event, posting a jump of 50-08.75 feet.

In the women’s pole vault, the Cougars got another win as Sierra Hansen leaped 13-03.50 feet, while Brigham Young’s Andrea Stapleton won the women’s high jump title, jumping 6 feet and .75 inches.

In the women’s javelin, Brigham Young’s Ashton Riner had a toss of 171-09.50 feet to win the title and Southern Utah’s Skyler Porcaro won the men’s javelin crown with a toss of 214-07.50 feet, concluding the meet.

LONG BEACH, Calif.-Saturday, select Southern Utah University track and field athletes competed at the Scott Invitational at Long Beach State Saturday. They were primarily in the men’s 1500-meter run, which saw the Thunderbirds’ Jason Quinn and Liam Kennell place fourth and eighth, respectively.
