Auto-pedestrian accident on Snow Campus causes injuries

Two Snow College students are recovering after an auto-pedestrian accident in Ephraim Monday morning.

According to a release from Snow College, the students were taken to the local hospital. One student was transported to another hospital in Utah County with critical injuries.

According to Snow College Public Safety Officer Derrick Walk, the two students were in the crosswalk when they were hit.

Walk says the driver is cooperating with police at this time and they believe the sun may have played a factor in causing low visibility.

Walk says “charges are pending” for the driver, who is also a Snow student.
