2A Playoff Brackets and Broadcast Times Announced

This upcoming Thursday and Friday (Oct. 18 and 19), the 2A playoffs in Utah high school football will commence. Here are the games, times and stations on which you can hear the broadcasts.
-The San Juan Broncos will host the Gunnison Bulldogs, Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Blanding, and the game can be heard on KLGL-FM 93.7. The winner of this game will play the North Summit Braves in Coalville the following weekend.
-The Manti Templars will entertain the Beaver Beavers Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. at Manti, and this broadcast can be heard on either KMTI-AM 650 or KCYQ-FM 97.7, for Beaver listeners. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals of the playoffs to meet the Grand Red Devils in Moab the following weekend.
-The Juab Wasps will host the South Sevier Rams, Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and this game can be heard on KSVC-AM 980 in Sevier County and on KMGR-FM 95.9 in Juab County. The winner of this game will advance to battle the Millard Eagles the following weekend in Fillmore in the second round.
-The Richfield Wildcats will host the American Leadership Academy Eagles Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. This game will be on KSVC-AM 980 while the winner will advance to play the South Summit Wildcats in Kamas the following weekend.
Badgers Remain Unbeaten With Decisivie Rout

EPHRAIM, UTAH-Houston Erbstoesser had his best performance as a collegiate quarterback, as he completed 19 of 28 passes for 239 yards and four touchdowns as the #1 Snow Badgers decimated the #10 Glendale Gauchos, 45-14, Saturday afternoon at Stoddard Field at Badger Stadium. As is customary, the Badgers’ defense also rose to the occasion as they surrendered just 186 offensive yards to a Gauchos team which came into the game averaging 320 yards and 32 points per contest. Additionally, receiver Adam Frandsen (4 rec. 113 yards, 2 TD’s) had a solid game, while the running game was excellent as well as Soni Sotele amassed a touchdown and 92 yards on 21 carries. The Badgers seek to maintain their winning ways as they go on the road this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 20, to Tucson, Ariz. to battle the Pima Aztecs. Game time will be 3:00 p.m. (MDT) and all of the action can be heard on KMTI-AM 650 or online at www.kmtiradio.com
