Police investigating after Panguitch woman's body found in coal bin

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 90 year old Female who was found on January 10th buried under a large amount of coal in the coal bin of her home in Panguitch, Utah.

A family member of the deceased took a letter that she had received from her Uncle to the Sheriff’s Office in St. George, who contacted the Garfield County Sheriff.

According to the Sheriff’s office, the letter stated that her Grandmother had passed away on December 25, 2017 and that her uncle had taken care of the body.

The Garfield County Sheriff has made an arrest of an individual by the name of Pete Marker on this case.
