SALT LAKE CITY—As part of its feasibility study for the potential expansion and renovation of the south end zone of Rice-Eccles Stadium, the University of Utah will conduct a survey of stakeholders in Utah athletics.

Invitations to participate in the survey will be emailed on Nov. 13-14 to Crimson Club members, Utah season and mini-plan ticket holders from 2014-17, alumni within 100 miles of campus and others with an interest in Utah athletics.

The survey, which takes 8-10 minutes to complete, will be conducted by Conventions, Sports and Leisure (CSL), a consultant group hired by the University to analyze the market demand for a stadium renovation.

CSL has worked on many college stadium projects, among them Baylor, Michigan State, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, Penn State, Notre Dame, Rutgers and Arizona State.

The information gathered from the survey will help the University understand the community’s interest in expanding the stadium, as well as amenities such as new premium seating, restrooms and concession options.
