Lt. Spencer Cox will visit Sanpete and Sevier Counties on Thursday as part of the 25K jobs tour.

The tour is aimed to build Utah’s rural counties during the next four years with 25,000 new jobs.

According to Lt. Gov. Cox, central Utah has it’s own challenges. He hopes local business owners and organizations will attend to share their ideas and questions.

“Come to us and say, ‘hey, we have this challenge, how can the State help us fix it so we can create more jobs?’” Cox said.

In addition to Cox’s speech, state and local organizers will present information to help businesses.

The event starts at the Snow College Ephraim Campus from 11-1 p.m. The tour then moves South to the Snow College Richfield Campus and runs from 4-6 p.m..
