COLORADO CITY, Ariz. (AP)-Per a report from KPNX-TV (12 News) in Phoenix, three people in Arizona face charges in the death of a Santa Clara man whose body was found last August in a remote Arizona desert region north of the Grand Canyon.
Last Friday in Mohave County (Ariz.) Justice Court, criminal complaints were filed against Hurricane residents Tammy Renee Freeman, Francis Lee McCard and Kelley Marie Perry entailing first-degree murder and kidnapping in the death of 30-year-old David Corey Heisler of Santa Clara.
Mohave County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Trish Carter confirmed the charges pertained to Heisler’s death.
No information was readily available, per The Associated Press, concerning whether the three defendants have attorneys who could comment on the allegations.
Utah investigators said Perry and Heisler had a daughter together and he received full custody shortly before his disappearance.
The three are already facing charges in Utah springing from Heisler’s disappearance.
