The Central Utah Narcotics task force seized nearly half of a pound of methamphetamine and arrested four people in Richfield as part of a drug bust that occurred April 5.

Officers discovered 6 ounces of meth after serving a search warrant at a Richfield home. Dwight Jenkins, task force commander, said that the home had been under surveillance for months and the amount of meth that was recovered was significant for the area.

When officers began searching the home Philip Bollinger, 47, Richfield, voluntarily showed officers the location of the meth, said Jenkins. Officers also found smaller amounts of meth along with some marijuana.

Bollinger was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance along with a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Shellie Guernsey, 51; Judy Mills, 63; and Wade Mezenen, 46, all Richfield, were also arrested on charges related to possession of controlled substances. Jenkins said the drugs carry a street value of approximately $10,000.
