(Salt Lake City, UT) —  Advocates for several Utah programs that could lose their funding are not happy with President Trump’s proposed budget.  Programs for low income Utahns are likely to be affected the most under the federal budget plan.  The head of the Community Education Partnership in West Valley City says five-thousand students would lose their tutoring program because of the cuts.  Low income families would also lose the benefits of some food banks and community services that are funded through block grants that would be eliminated in the President’s budget.
