(West Jordan, UT) — A homeless woman isn’t saying why she decided to drive off in a Unified Fire Authority fire truck yesterday. Firefighters got a surprise after leaving the truck’s engine idling while they were inside a 7-Eleven, only to find the truck gone when they exited the store minutes later. West Jordan Police say the homeless woman jumped in and drove the truck a few blocks to a Walgreens, where she went inside and told employees there was a stolen fire truck outside. Police picked her up later when she was walking down the street near Stone Bluff Way.
