SALT LAKE CITY (AP)-Per the official Twitter of UDOT, mountain slush is coming to many of the central Utah mountain regions Friday and Saturday.

This system is expected to generally spread across Utah with elevations from 7,000-7,500 feet being the threshold for snow.

Brief road slush will impact travel along I-80 at Parley’s Canyon as well as summits along Interstate 15 at such locations as Cove Fort and Beaver Ridge.

A lull may occur Friday night and Saturday morning before giving way to a second wave coming in on Saturday afternoon/evening.

Also, in the Mid-Utah coverage area, U.S. 89 between Panguitch and Glendale (Logan Summit) and U.S. 6 between Tucker and Helper will be affected strongly by this system as well.

Use caution in driving as well as TravelWise if at all possible. Have a safe and fun weekend from your friends at Mid-Utah Radio.
