Storm Ridge Ranch, a Monroe based business, was recently assessed almost $320,000 in a civil judgement signed by Judge Keith Kelly in Utah’s Third District Court in Salt Lake City. The Utah Office of the Inspector General began a two-year investigation in October 2011 after a Utah Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) audit turned up Medicaid billing irregularities.

The audit showed services billed to Medicaid by Storm Ridge Ranch for psychosocial rehabilitative services were different than services actually provided. The over payments by Medicaid were in excess of $250,000.

Storm Ridge Ranch is a residential treatment center providing services to juveniles age 12 to 18 with emotional and behavioral issues.
