(Springdale, UT) — Repair work gets under way this week on a trail at Zion National Park. The Lower Emerald Pool Trail will shut down Thursday because some concrete poses a tripping hazard according to “Deseret News.” It will be removed and re-laid, and should be cured in time for the trail to be reopened by Friday morning. The Lower Emerald Pool will still be accessible to hikers by taking the Kayenta Trail.
