No Evidence Plane Was In Distress

(Santa Clara, UT) — Investigators say there is no evidence that suggests a small plane that crashed Wednesday in Washington County was in distress. A former U-2 spy plane pilot, 75-year-old Gary Hawes, and his student pilot, Brad Brian, died when the single-engine plane went down near Santa Clara. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigation.
