(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah women are lagging behind their male counterparts in their pay and education levels. That’s according to the YWCA Utah’s The Well-Being of Women in Utah report revealed yesterday at the YWCA in Salt Lake City. YWCA CEO Anne Burkholder said the Beehive State’s women earn less, even when their education levels are higher than men, and women are more likely to be poor. The YWCA Utah is trying to get talks going around the state to boost women’s safety, health, income and education.
