19 employees with some 518 years combined service in Sevier School District are retiring at the end of the school year. Superintendent Cade Douglas, Assistant Superintendent Gail Albrecht and Board President Clint Johnson each expressed appreciation to the employees at a dinner in their honor April 29 at Frontier Village. Albrecht said each employee made a positive impact on the lives of children in their own way and that they represent 9.6 percent loss of experience to the overall School District.

Among those leaving are Patti Sanchez, administrative assistant, and Patrick Wilson, business administrator. Sanchez was applauded for her loyalty, quality control, people skills and common sense. Wilson was praised for his commitment to excellence and sound financial judgement. School administrators gave a brief tribute and a $50 gift card to each retiree.
