Capital Reef Prepares For Summer Hours

The Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center will be open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily starting Sunday May 4. Geology talks will be offered at the visitor center at 10:00 a.m. and Fremont Culture talks will be offered at the petroglyph panel at 3:00 p.m., which is located 1 mile east of the visitor center on highway 24. Evening programs will be offered at the campground amphitheater after sunset and moon walks, stargazing and guided geology hikes will be offered as staffing allows. Park staff asks that visitors check at the visitor center for dates and times of these and other special programs.
