Two-Car Crash Occurs At Hurricane Intersection

HURRICANE, Utah (AP)-Per the official Twitter account of St. George News, two vehicles were involved in a Wednesday morning collision in Hurricane.

Hurricane City Police Department Sergeant Brandon Buell confirmed that a Geo Prism rear-ended a Subaru Forester at the intersection of 6300 West and S.R. 9 near Quail Lake State Park around 9:40 a.m. MDT Wednesday.

Buell said the Geo struck the back of the Forester, sustaining front-end damage, although the airbags were not employed on either vehicle.

Representatives of the Hurricane City Police Department and Hurricane Fire Department responded to the accident and minor injuries were sustained by both drivers.

An ambulance was summoned for precautionary measures, but no one was transported to a hospital.
