The Bees surrendered two late-inning runs leading to a 6-4 loss to the Isotopes at Smith’s Ballpark. Grant Green drove in two runs off a fifth inning double and C.J. Cron chipped in an RBI for Salt Lake, which only got four hits from it’s offense. Jose Alvarez gave up just one run while striking out three in four-and-two-thirds. Kurt Spomer took the loss after surrendering what would be the go-ahead run in the eighth inning. The Bees travel to Reno tomorrow to begin a four-game set with the Aces. Wade LeBlanc will get the start for Salt Lake.
