Alcohol-Related Deaths Lowest In Utah

A new study shows Utah has the lowest excessive alcohol-related deaths compared to eleven other states that were recently studied. Research from the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention shows Utah averages more than five-hundred deaths a year. The “Salt Lake Tribune” reports nearly 73-percent involved working-age adults. Figures show New Mexico came in at the highest with more than one-thousand deaths annually.
