Snow and slush contributed to a fatal car accident Tuesday morning. The Utah Highway Patrol said that 34-year-old Springville resident Clinton Lee Logan was killed when another car hit him head on at 8:02 a.m. An Infiniti traveling Eastbound on U.S. 6 crossed over the center line and crashed into Logan’s Honda Civic while the Infiniti was trying to pass a semi. UHP said the driver’s vision was obscured by snow and slush that was on the roadway. Logan was transported to Mountain View Hospital in Payson, but died from his injuries. He was the only occupant in the Honda. There were two adults and two children in the Infinity. They were also transported to Mountain View Hospital. Their condition has not been released. The accident closed down Highway 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon through the morning hours as crews cleaned up the accident.
