Utah Lawmakers Considering Dozens of Air Bills

Utah legislators are considering more than two-dozen bills in the current session that could help reduce the state’s serious air-quality issues. Representative Patrice Arent with the House Clean Air Caucus says one of the bills under consideration would provide 20 million dollars to replace or remove school buses with old diesel engines. Salt Lake City’s air quality was so bad at some points this year that it ranked among the nations most polluted cities.
