(Salt Lake City, UT) — University of Utah researchers are about to probe the minds of returned LDS missionaries. The brain study will try to learn if spirituality affects how we act. MRI scans will study those who “have thousands of hours of practice identifying specifically when they’re feeling a religious experience.” The “Salt Lake Tribune” reports Jeff Anderson with the university and other researchers need 15 to 20 participants between 20 and 30-years-old who are involved in the Church and in their beliefs.
