Feds Recognize Same-Sex Marriages In Utah

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The federal government is recognizing same-sex marriages that took place in Utah before a stay was granted by the Supreme Court. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder says those couples are eligible for federal benefits. A federal court struck down the state’s ban on same-sex marriage as unconstitutional last month.
