(Washington, DC) — The Mormon church may be evolving on gay rights. Five of the Senate’s seven Mormons voted in favor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, including Nevada’s two representatives. Senator Harry Reid tells the “Washington Blade” he has found, quote, “more people agree with me than disagree with me, and so the church is changing, and that’s good.” Senator Dean Heller tells the “New York Times,” quote, “where American families are becoming more inclusive, I think the same is true of the LDS faith.”
