Aurora and Central Valley Election Results

Scott Gurney won the race for the mayor of Aurora with 115 votes, while Blake Croft had 30. JoAnne Shaw and Daven Quarnberg both earned council seats by getting 139 and 134 votes respectively. Kim Peterson defeated Charles Billingsley by a 143-49 vote difference to secure the race for mayor of Central Valley. Charles Evans got 139 votes to secure one of two spots for the town council seat. Bryan Brown’s 114 votes were just barely enough to give him the second one as Gary Barney came up just short with 110 votes. There are six absentee ballots in Central Valley, along with two provisional ballots, which will be counted during the town’s election canvass on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
