National Park Service units throughout the nation, including here in Utah, will have a free entry for everyone from Saturday November 9 through Veterans Day on Monday the 11 to honor our country’s veterans. But despite the fact entry fees are being waived, other fees will still be required for park visitors. The National Park Service put together a video to be a part of this years Veterans Day Celebration that shows Yellowstone National Park Ranger Dan Hottle visit various National Parks. Hottle is also a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan. Throughout the video Hottle is seen visiting different National Parks such as Arches, Canyonlands and Zion where he talks about how the parks helped him to reconnect with himself and leave the burden of war behind him on miles and miles of beautiful trails.
