One of New Mexico’s most wanted men was arrested this past Saturday by the Cedar City Police Department during a routine warrant check. The 33 year old Jimmy Eaton was booked into the Iron County Correctional Facility this past weekend after officers found out he had an outstanding warrant out of Albuquerque for kidnapping charges. The police responded to a call where Eaton had been accused of harassing the caller. While the police were there they ran the warrant check that came back with Eaton’s name. This past April Eaton’s name was also part of a list of fugitives that Albuquerque City had created for an advertisement in the Albuquerque Journal. A four day warrant search then began on April 30 to find those on the list. Over 100 officers actively searched for those who were listed on the paper to have warrants.
