(Salt Lake City, UT) — The office of Utah Attorney General John Swallow will ask for an exception to an earlier judge’s ruling forcing him to turn over sensitive documents. Swallow’s lawyers say their client will comply with the subpoena calling for important documents from as far back as late 2009. But Swallow has asked for the exception as it pertains to some files he says contain information considered private under federal law. However investigators maintain the case cannot move ahead without Swallow’s computer files.
