Sevier County recently gave the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Sons of the Utah Pioneers, seven acres of county owned property for a future “Heritage Park.” The site, on the north end of Richfield, is located behind Gayle’s Chevron and Arby’s. It will be the future location of the DUP cabin which currently sites behind the Richfield City Library. Along with the cabin a new museum will be built to house and display pioneer artifacts that the current cabin/museum does not have room for. A tourist information center will also be located at the future Heritage Park site.
