Yesterday there was a meeting set up between Gov. Gary Herbert and the NRA leader Wayne LaPierre. However the meeting was postponed until a future trip to the nations capitol by Governor Herbert. Details weren’t provided about why the meeting needed to be rescheduled or who was the one who postponed it. The NRA was expected to ask the governor about his veto he signed earlier this year of HB76, which is a “constitutional carry” gun bill that is backed up by the NRA. The bill would have allowed guns that are without a round in the chamber to be concealed in public without a permit.
