A group of about 30 bicyclists will make their way through scenic Central Utah this week as part of a 420-mile bike ride through Utah and Nevada. The group is comprised of owners, CEOs, presidents and other top executives of 16 companies that are the cream of Taiwan’s bicycle business. Each company has signaled an interest in opening a distribution center in North America, and are looking at Utah as a possible location.
The group began the ride from Ogden Wednesday morning, but legs of the 7 day tour include Fish Lake through Capital Reef national Park, Boulder to Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks National Monument to St. George. The trek will end near Lake Mead in Nevada. Media from Tawian will also film the tour and produce a documentary film of the trip.
