On July 4th, an Elsinore man came home to find his front door had been pried open and his home had been burglarized. Among items stolen were several firearms. After following up on a lead, Detectives Pearson, Edwards, and Mickelson, along with Lt. Shaun Robbins were able to locate one of the stolen guns at a trailer in Elsinore. The trailer belonged to Jose Encinas and Terri Pilling of Elsinore. Police also found drugs in the trailer. On Saturday morning two more guns were recovered in Richfield. Bryce Tong and Robin Julander of Richfield were arrested in connection with that recovery. The guns were recovered after 5 search warrants and dozens of interviews by Sevier County Detectives, deputies, and members of the Central Utah Narcotics Task Force. One gun remains unaccounted for. The case is still being worked and court appearances are pending.
