Alcohol suspected in Hurricane crash

Investigators believe that alcohol may have been the cause in a head-on collision that took place early on Sunday morning in Hurricane. It happened before 1 a.m. when a BMW went into the lane of oncoming traffic and struck a Chevy pickup on West State Street. There was only one man in the BMW and two in the Chevy. All three of them were taken to the hospital as a result of the head-on hit. The crash also started a small fire that the witnesses were able to put out. The driver of the BMW was also arrested for investigation of a DUI to go along with several other traffic violations.
