The Division of Wildlife Resources is investigating a Boy Scout leader who killed a bear. The “Tribune” reports the leader says he shot the bear three times Wednesday night as it approached scouts after eating food on a picnic table. The scouts were at the Hinckley Scout Ranch near the Bear River in the Uinta Mountains and had been instructed not to leave out food that could attract bears.
