A broken fuel line caused a semi truck hauling 12 tons of sileage hay to catch fire in Joseph Tuesday evening. The Monroe Fire Department responded to the fire at 5:50 and were able to put it out. The truck belonged to Scott Mills, who was traveling on 810 South Ross Lane when flames started to come up through the floor next to the gear shift. Mills got out of the truck without injury, but the truck and the hay were a total loss.
