West Valley City Might Re-Prosecute Dismissed Cases

Leaders in West Valley City say they’ll review nearly 100 cases already dismissed by Utah’s federal and district courts. The “Tribune” reports some of the felony cases could be re-filed as misdemeanors. The Salt Lake County D-As office says the cases in question are so flawed they can’t be prosecuted. One expert attorney says the idea to re-prosecute is a quote, “colossal waste of time.”
