Herbert To Wait Until After Election To Decide Medicaid Expansion

Utah Governor Gary Herbert is going to wait until after the Presidential election before he decides what to do about the expansion of Medicaid in Utah. His reasoning is that President Obama and Republican Mitt Romney each have different views on the future of health care, so the prudent choice would be to wait to see who wins. Under the Affordable Care Act, states can extend a government-run insurance to people who are ineligible beginning in 2014.
