Thirteen-Year-Old Girl Injured In Boating Accident

A 13-year-old girl is hospitalized after a boating accident in Weber County. The incident happened yesterday afternoon around 5:30 at Pineveiw Reservoir. Sheriff’s officials say the young girl got tangled in rope, which pulled her into the water and then into the boat’s propeller. The victim’s family was able to pull her out of the water and call 911. Sheriff’s officials do not plan on filing negligence charges.
