Elsinore man arrested for metal thefts

(ELSINORE) – An Elsinore man was arrested for stealing various metals and selling them to salvage yards. The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office was able to trace down 44-year old, Cliff Collette, using information gained from the salvage yards. According to a sheriff’s report, Collette fled from deputies when they came to his home in Elsinore to investigate the thefts. He was later arrested at his home and charged with a third degree felony theft, resisting arrest and two warrants out for his arrest. Collette is now awaiting trial at the Sevier County Jail.
