(SALINA) – An ATV blew up after a crash in the early morning hours Saturday in the Gooseberry area. Just after 3am, Sevier County Deputies were dispatched to an ATV crash and fire on a closed portion of an ATV trail near Oak Ridge. According to a sheriff’s report, Hope Bevilhymer, was driving an ATV down a trail, when she hit a large hole, throwing her off the four-wheeler. The ATV went into a wash but remained upright. When she tried to start the four-wheeler, it burst into flames. The machine was completely destroyed by the fire. A Forest Service crew were in the area and were able to put out the fire before it spread to dry brush.
