(RICHFIELD) – The Richfield City Library has received a welcome donation from the Richfield Elks Lodge. Exalted Ruler, Doug Gilbert, says the money will be used to help children out of the Richfield area obtain a free library card. Librarian, Robin Davis, said the library matched the Elks donation and were able to secure 20 free library cards for children who may not get one. The Richfield Library is currently under renovation in the upstairs portion and Library Director, Linda Fields, says the construction should be complete in three months. She said the downstairs is open from 11am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and 11-5 on Friday and Saturday. Fields reminded patrons to call the library for free library cards.
