Aurora youth found after suicide threat

(AURORA) – A 15-year old Aurora youth threatening suicide Wednesday morning was found by a Sevier County Deputy. According to a sheriff’s report, at about 11am, the boy was text messaging another person on his cell phone, who then called the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies, Sevier County Search and Rescue, along with Salina City Police searched for the teenager from the Lost Creek area in Aurora to the west fields. A deputy discovered the boy at his home in Aurora at about 2:30 that afternoon. The youth was transported to the Sevier Valley Hospital and released to his family after obtaining clearance from the hospital.
