(MONROE) – Sevier County Deputies responded to a report of a stolen ATV Sunday night in Monroe. Steven Grundy had parked an ATV next to his house at 105 South 300 East in Monroe and noticed that at about midnight, the ATV was gone. A sheriff’s report said that Grundy assumed his son had put the four-wheeler away for the night in the shed but his children found the ATV at the South Sevier Middle School a half block away the next morning. The report stated that the ATV had been wrecked. Deputies are asking the public for any information as to the theft. They are also notifying the public about fuel thefts throughout the valley and are encouraging people to keep a close eye on their vehicles and report any suspicious activity to the Sheriff’s Office.
