(FAYETTE) – A Mayfield man sustained minor injuries after losing his glasses and rolling his vehicle north of Fayette on SR-28 Monday afternoon. A UHP report said that 67-year old, Wayne Branting was traveling southbound in a 1995 Chevy Monty Carlo at about 4:30pm, when he lost his prescription dark glasses that were needed for him to drive, causing him to lose control. His vehicle went back and forth across both lanes of travel and climbed a dirt embankment, coming to rest on its top. Branting was wearing a seatbelt and was slightly injured. The report stated that he had a medical procedure on his eyes that required him to wear dark glasses.
