Stults' Big Night Leads Dodgers Past ChiSox

LOS ANGELES-Eric Stults pitched the first complete game of his career and improved to 2-0 on the season while also hitting a fourth inning sacrifice fly which put things away for the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 5-0 win over the Chicago White Sox Wednesday in interleague play at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers started things off on the right foot with a two-run first inning as Andre Ethier and Russell Martin each hit RBI singles to get an early lead on the anemic White Sox. The win improved Los Angeles to 36-41 on the season while the White Sox fell to 42-35 with the loss. In National League action Wednesday, Atlanta doubled up Milwaukee, 4-2 and in other interleague play, Boston blanked Arizona, 5-0, San Francisco humbled Cleveland, 4-1, the New York Yankees bludgeoned Pittsburgh, 10-0, Cincinnati edged Toronto, 6-5 in 10 innings, Washington surged past the Los Angeles Angels, 5-4, the New York Mets hammered Seattle, 8-2, Tampa Bay decimated Florida, 15-3, the Chicago Cubs overpowered Baltimore, 7-4, Texas tripped up Houston, 3-2, Kansas City stymied Colorado, 4-2, Detroit snuck past St. Louis, 8-7, Philadelphia torched Oakland, 4-0, and Minnesota pounded San Diego, 9-3.
