(RICHFIELD) – The Utah State University Extension Service featured Lt. Gov. Greg Bell as the keynote speaker at the opening session of the 2011 Agriculture Conference today at the exhibit building at the Sevier County Fairgrounds in Richfield. Bell said one of the biggest challenges in agriculture in today’s economy is helping entreprenuers be successful in the business. During his speech, Bell said agriculture in Utah is a $15-billion business, or about a sixth of Utah’s economy and needs to have the proper attention paid to it. He said with great people, including Ag Commissioner, Leonard Blackham, at the head of agriculture in the state, the food grown in Utah will always be secure and safe.
